EVALUATION OF DROP OUT OF STUDY

Definition

Students are declared to have dropped out of study if under certain circumstances they cannot continue academic activities due to administrative problems and/or academic evaluations. The decision to drop out of study was decided by the Chancellor at the suggestion of the Head of the Faculty/Postgraduate Program. (Referring to the Decree of the Chancellor of the University of Indonesia Number: 478/SK/R/UI/2004 concerning Evaluation of Study Success of University of Indonesia Students Articles 9 and 10) it has been changed to the Rector's Decree No. 6 2020 Chapter XV Article 48 concerning Dropouts

Standard

Undergraduate students are declared to have dropped out of study:

If the evaluation of the first 2 (two) semesters does not obtain an achievement index of at least 2.0 (two point zero) from at least the best 24 (twenty-four) credits;
If the evaluation of the first 4 (four) semesters does not obtain an achievement index of at least 2.0 (two point zero) from at least the best 48 (forty eight) credits;
If the evaluation of the first 8 (eight) semesters does not obtain an achievement index of at least 2.0 (two point zero) out of at least 96 (ninety six) best credits;
If at the end of the study period evaluation does not obtain an achievement index of at least 2.0 (two point zero) of the required study load with the lowest score of C.

In addition to the above, undergraduate students can be declared as dropping out

study if the person concerned:

a. Troubled in terms of administration as regulated in article 29 paragraph (3)

b. Get sanctioned for academic violations

c. Get sanctions for violations of the rules of campus life d. It was declared that he was not worthy of further studies on the basis of health considerations from a team of doctors appointed by the university leadership
